今晚，我第一次动手洗自己的袜子，我先把袖子挽高，不然水就会淋湿我的衣服，然后再把自来水打开，哇，水好凉啊。我对妈妈说：“妈妈，我能开热水吗?”妈妈点点头同意了。于是我打 开热水笼头，浸湿袜子，打上肥皂，用力地搓洗，搓洗几遍后，再把水拧干，最后再把袜子晾在衣架上。

Tonight, for the first time, I started to wash my socks. First, I pulled my sleeves up, or the water would get wet. Then I turned on the tap water. Wow, the water is so cool. I said to my mother, “Mom, can I turn on the hot water?” Mom nodded and agreed. So I turned on the hot water tap, soaked my socks, soaped them, scrubbed them vigorously, and after several times of scrubbing, I wrung them out, and finally hung them on the hanger.

通过这次做家务，让我感受到爸爸妈妈原来有那么辛苦呢!
