一、利用Free talk中的师生对话扩大语言整段性的输出

每个英语老师在进入新课教授前都会有5分钟左右的时间与学生进行Free talk, 内容以问好、复习旧知为主, 形式以师生之间的一问一答为主。中低年级用这样的方式是可以的, 毕竟学生的学习能力有限, 但是到五年级后, 如果教师还是在Free talk中运用这样的方式, 那么将滞后学生综合运用语言的能力, 学生习得的语言也只能被支离破碎地运用。教师一定要在Free talk中有意识地培养学生整段性语言的输出能力, 才能让学生在自由谈话的空间中娓娓道来。

二、利用课文插图扩大语言整段性的输出

插图, 作为一种直观的视觉信息和教学媒体, 是教材内容的有机组成部分。它传递着与教材内容相关的丰富信息, 并提供了相关的背景。《牛津小学英语》的每篇课文都配有色彩鲜明、生动活泼的插图, 比较符合小学生的生理、心理特点和儿童学习语言的规律。所以利用好课文插图, 对语篇内容进行预测, 也能提高学生语言的整段性输出能力。

【课例1】我在教学《牛津小学英语》5A Unit2《A new house》A部分时, 就充分利用了课文插图进行拓展。

T: (出示课文前半部分的插图) Look, this is Yang Ling’s new house.What can you see in the house?

(学生的回答无法全面地概括出屋内物品, 我就开始引导他们能够整体性地说出所看到的房间)

三、巧用板书中的关键词语扩大语言整段性的输出

复述是小学英语语篇教学中的必要环节之一。它是指学生在理解和记忆的基础上, 把文本内容加以整理, 用自己的话, 有重点、有条理地进行叙述, 对提高他们的口头表达能力有独特的作用。所以用复述的方式, 可以有效地提高学生语言输出的量。而在课堂上进行复述, 一定要借用板书, 根据板书上的关键词语, 让学生寻找到相关信息, 有迹可循, 从而让学生能够较完整地复述出课文内容。

【课例2】《牛津小学英语》5A Unit4《Halloween》Part A前半部分的教学中, 在扫清相关生词、听毕录音并回答相关问题后, 我的板书已经初步构成:

案例中, 我把一些课文中的重要词组、生词写在黑板上, 给学生的复述提供了参考依据。复述是语言整段性输出的一种高效活动, 学生通过复述巩固了对课文内容的理解, 增加了语言积累, 发展了语言能力。

四、利用教材内容模仿练说, 扩大语言整段性的输出

进入五年级后, 《牛津小学英语》教材的E部分逐渐开始有小的语篇出现。这些小语篇, 一方面要培养学生的阅读能力, 另一方面也要让学生能够模仿语篇进行大量的语言输出训练活动。作为教师, 一定要充分利用好教材这一内容, 让学生在模仿中练说, 扩大其语言输出量, 提高其整体运用语言的能力。

【课例3】教学牛津小学英语5A Unit 8《A camping trip》E部分内容后, 我让学生各自拿出准备好的动物玩具进行模仿练说。
