老王蹲在墙根, 两手对插在袖筒里, 百无聊赖地看看天, 又看看地, 习惯性地朝手心啐了一口, 却不知道自己要干什么。

小区这两天又在搞绿化, 就在老王所住的公寓楼后, 挖掘机整天轰隆隆响个不停, 这儿咬一口, 又在那里吐出来。一捆捆的长青植物规规矩矩地躺在路边, 就像是等着上台的龙套演员。

“堆了这么点儿土就硬说是山, 假山也不能这么假吧!”虽然已经进城一年多了, 老王还是不习惯这个奇怪的地方, 一见到大片大片的草坪, 他就忍不住摩拳擦掌, 唏嘘不已:“噫!这么好的地, 种上庄稼该多好!”

老王以前可是个种田好手, 只是因为摊上拆迁, 才在众人羡慕的眼光中住进高楼。那些平板车啦、铁锹啦、耙子啦没地方放, 只能送人的送人, 卖破烂的卖破烂。唯有一把心爱的锄头老王实在不舍得扔, 就带进城来。可是城里也没有田给他种, 他只好把锄头收进了车库。

小区里戴眼镜的老头老太们还真不少, 每天早晨都浩浩荡荡摆开阵势在门口晨练。老王看不惯他们甩胳膊扭屁股的样子, 所以从来没有加入过他们, 当然也没有人邀请过他。

忽然有一天, 邻居老孙一大早就敲响了老王的门。“王师傅, 有个事儿您可一定要帮忙啊, 您在这方面可是行家!”

原来现在城里开始流行一种“锄头健身操”, 小区的老头老太们离开土地时间已久, 于是, 他们自然而然地就想到了老王。老王矜持地整了整衣襟, 很低调地说了句“我试试吧”, 低头进了车库。

一.作文要写第二遍

我们平时的作文训练中, 一般每道作文题只写一遍, 老师讲评完之后又开始写下一篇了。这样的结果是学生每一篇作文都没写好, 没有成就感。老师的讲评因为没能派上用场, 也全都白费了心血。

在作文训练中一般要求学生每篇作文至少写两遍, 直到写得自己满意老师也满意为止。比如这篇作文事实上李文君同学已经写过三遍, 算上高考时写的那一遍已经是第四遍了。开始的时候, 老师给学生布置了一个半命题作文《重拾……》, 李文君同学写的是《重拾锄头》, 写一个农村的老人, 随儿子进了城, 看到原本该种庄稼的土地都被闲置被占用, 自己又因为离开了土地觉得无聊, 所以非常苦闷。后来城里突然开始流行“锄头健身操”, 就是挥动锄头来锻炼身体。老人通过这样的健身操, 重拾锄头, 又找回了昔日的感觉。

李文君同学写的第一遍作文并没有“锄头健身操”这个情节, 只写老人在城市的各种不适应, 对农村的各种想念。当时老师跟她说, 虽然你的作文看不出什么缺点, 但是也没有优点, 情节有点空洞, 有点俗套, 必须找到一个独特的有个性的情节来。结果她写的第二遍作文里就出现了“锄头健身操”这个情节, 老师告诉她有了这个情节, 这篇作文就算成功了。老师打算把她的这篇作文作为范文, 于是又和她进一步推敲这篇文章, 丰富了一些细节, 比如老人因为珍惜土地, 看到城里的草坪就想到这些草要是庄稼该多好, 还有挥动锄头之前往手里吐口唾沫这样一些细节。根据商量的结果, 李文君同学又把这篇作文写了第三遍。

正是有了把同一篇文章写了三遍的经历, 李文君同学对这篇文章的内容已经烂熟于心, 对故事情节每个可能的发展方向胸有成竹, 所以才能游刃有余地进行改造, 贴切地把“忧与爱”的主旨融入到了这个故事中去, 得到了骆冬青教授“堪称惊警的短小说”这一高度评价, 成为网上公布的为数不多的江苏卷高考优秀作文之一。

所以我们在平时的作文训练中可以尝试每个作文题写两遍的做法, 第一遍训练的时候只公布作文题, 不作任何提示, 限时完成, 以此提高学生考场作文的能力;第二遍训练之前老师就第一次作文中暴露出来的审题、立意等问题进行详细评讲和提示, 再给学生一节课的时间修改旧作或者重写新作。争取每次作文都能让学生写出一篇最满意的文章来。

二.作文指导要重视个性化

现行的作文教学中, 所有的作文指导基本上都是在课堂中进行的。审题方法、立意方向、构思途径、选材技巧统统面向全体学生讲授, 不管这些学生能否掌握, 是否感兴趣;评讲的时候也只能就学生作文训练中有代表性的突出问题进行点评, 无论坐在下面的同学是不是存在同样的问题。即使在作文评语中有一些针对性的建议, 但是一来批改的时间有限, 无法把自己发现的问题和盘托出, 另一方面因为不是跟学生面对面的交流, 自己提供的这些建议也得不到学生的充分重视, 致使这些评语不能收到实效。

面对面的批改就能解决上述问题。当然, 因为教师的精力有限, 根本无法做到对所有同学的面批。但是我们可以根据学生的特点, 有选择、分批次地进行面批, 还可以把存在同样问题的几个同学叫到一起, 以一个同学的作文为例, 进行小范围的集中面批, 同样可以收到良好的效果。

因为李文君同学平时就喜欢写作, 经常跟老师讨论一些写作上的问题, 所以老师对李文君同学作文的批改基本上都是面对面的批改。老师在指出她作文中存在问题的同时, 也注意听取她的解释, 根据她的解释再确定最佳的修改方案。

三.要注重突出学生的特长

李文君同学进入高三的时候, 老师发现她的议论文写得不够好, 尤其是论证过程, 缺乏层次性, 但是选用的事例却写得很生动。老师认识到她擅长编故事, 就有意识地培养她编故事的能力, 同时也逐步提高她的逻辑思维能力, 以防高考时指定议论文文体。

根据她的特长, 老师在面对面批改她的作文的时候, 特别注意指导她追求立意的新颖和构思的圆满, 同时提醒她在点题扣题和详略问题上多加注意, 使她写出的每一篇记叙文基本上都能成为其他同学的范文, 极大地增强了她的信心, 到后来也能写出中规中矩的议论文了。

近年教材、教辅图书占了所有图书销售份额的70%以上,打着“满分作文”标签的作文在作文类报刊、图书中随处可见。早在2006年6月12日,《光明日报》就报道过,高考刚刚结束,阅卷工作刚刚开始,某些擅长于“考试经济”的人便推出了今年的所谓《满分作文》。据一位近年来总是全国第一个编出当年《高考满分作文集》的中学语文教师透露,他编的满分作文没有一篇是来自考场。这不光时间赶不上,也没必要。安徽的一位中学语文教师证实了以上说法,因为他每年也都向一些报刊和图书的主编提供“满分作文”,这些作文全是根据高考作文题自己写的,图书主编们也知道这个情况。

这种天方夜谭现象的出现,与当前应考中某些不符合教学规律的做法有某种必然的联系。为了提高考生作文的分数,许多老师屈从于应试教育的压力,绞尽脑汁打起了“满分作文”的主意。他们一方面在教学中不断以过去各种考试中的“满分作文”作示范,要求学生刻意模仿;另一方面,他们选择一些所谓的“经典文章”让考生去背诵以期达到应考目的。由于有部分考生从中受益(例如前些年江西一考生曾把四川某报记者的文章基本照搬而获得了高考“满分作文”),这种死背范文的做法便不自觉地被一些语文教师推广。

由于“满分作文”有广阔的市场,被“考试经济”盯上也就不足为奇了。然而,扪心自问:这种“满分作文”应考模式,对提高学生的作文水平有帮助吗?且不说那位“满分作文”的江西考生因此惹出麻烦,就从教育科学本身来审视这一做法,也是值得商榷的。首先,让学生死背“满分作文”应考,是一种短期行为。古人主张“授人以渔”,而不应该“授人以鱼”,说的是要教会学生学习的方法。范文可以学习模仿,但不能一字不动地机械照搬。如果不教会考生作文的方法,即使是蒙混过关混得高分,也是无益的;其次,“满分作文”的含金量值得怀疑。上文所披露的“满分作文”所产生的内幕,令人更加怀疑那些“满分作文”的水平。事实上,许多水平很一般的文章也滥竽充数成为“满分作文”,让学生当范文来死记硬背,只会误人子弟;再次,写作无定法,只有不断创新,文章才有价值。考生的作文也是如此,只有在文章中不断展示出自己的新意,才能获得高分。因此,死背“满分作文”照搬“满分作文”的做法,是极不科学的。
