一方面,教师在进行阅读课教学时可从以下几个步骤入手:①引导学生速读全文,掌握文章大意,回答体现课文中心思想的一两个问题。②引导学生仔细阅读全文并完成深层理解练习。在进行高三阅读课文教学时要尽量按高考要求设计阅读理解题或阅读填空题。③指导学生听课文。④根据关键词复述课文内容。在采用这种方法的同时,给学生适当的阅读技巧指导,包括怎样寻找中心句,怎样猜测词意、怎样推理判断、怎样提高阅读速度等。另一方面,教师要充分利用英文报刊、网络、文学作品等课程资源扩大学生阅读面。平时让学生接触各种题材的文章,尤其是有关英美国家的背景知识,使学生更多地了解英语国家的社会、历史、政治及风俗习惯,开拓学生的文化视野。有的学生之所以语感差,就是阅读面狭窄,英语背景知识少的缘故。因此,可在阅读中不断提高学生的英语语感。

四、在各式各样的英语活动课中提高语感

英语是一种语言,语言的学习和使用离不开各种交际活动。强化英语活动课开展的功能就是要引导学生走向生活,为了培养学生初步运用英语进行跨文化交际的能力,语感有利于学生吸收和运用生动的生活材料和语言材料。他们吸收的材料越多,运用语言材料的频率越高,语感能力的形成就越有基础,也会使高中英语教学走出长期的恶性循环。

不足：

1、参与评价的强制性,极易引起学生的反感和厌恶。如此促使不少人进行敷衍了事或功利性的选择,使得权利变成了义务,造成了很多评价的非理性现象的存在。

2、评价体系太单一，影响评价结果的信度与效度。众所周知，由于学科差异，不同专业侧重培养学生素质的不同方面，教师采取的教学方法也不尽相同，所以很难用整齐划一的标准对不同科目教师的教学质量进行评判。譬如对数学这一门课的评价，由于注重理论的广度和深度，大多学生都不太喜欢，这显然有失客观和公正。

3、危害了健康和谐的师生关系。学校会向教师公布整个专业对他的整体评价。学校对评价较差的教师一般采用的是批评方法，而很少进行帮助和激励。这样会挫伤一部分教师的工作干劲和热情。有的教师甚至会施以小恩小惠与学生搞好关系，以求学生给予较好的评价。学生心里害怕老师给自己打低分或挂科，老师害怕自己的教学不被学生认可，双方就可能做出互相妥协的事情，会因为心中的那一份顾忌而失去自我。
