一、看图写话, 激发学生写作兴趣

小学生英文写作经验欠缺, 如果让他们自己去写, 他们会觉得非常困难。因为他们所学的词汇量有限, 句型学习得也非常少。而且他们对写作没有兴趣, 只是布置任务让他们写, 他们会应付了事。笔者通过思考和研究, 尝试着给学生们看色彩鲜艳、内容丰富的图片, 让他们看图写话, 他们的兴致还挺高。

案例:在学完译林版英语六年级上册Unit 1 The king’s new clothes之后, 我给学生们看了一组故事性的连环画。这组图片是学生们相当熟悉的《西游记》, 图片中有美猴王、猴子猴孙、猪八戒, 还有些美丽的景色如山、水、树, 等等。孩子们看到这几幅图, 脸上的笑容就绽开了。我趁热打铁开始讲述故事, 因为学生们对于这些故事相当熟悉, 不需要我过多赘述, 他们就已经能了然于心了。为了降低写作难度, 我让孩子们在小组内讨论, 让他们先说故事, 并听取同学们的意见, 最后再开始动笔去写。当作文交上来时, 我发现孩子们虽然写得极其简单, 但是故事的内容还是被完整地呈现了出来。 (一位学生的小故事:Long long ago, there were many monkeys.They lived in Huaguo Mountain.One day, a pig visited the monkey king.The king was angry.He pointed at the pig and shouted, “Get out!”Many monkeys laughed.) 这种看图写话, 是孩子们特别喜欢的, 他们不仅能体验到看连环画的乐趣, 还能学会用英文写故事, 他们会在写作中得到极大的满足。写作的兴趣也会在不知不觉中得到提升。

二、信息提示, 碰触学生写作灵感

小学生英文知识积累的量特别的少, 如果让他们自己去整合语言完成写作, 那简直是难如登天。因此, 我们可以给他们提供一些较为详细的写作提示, 让他们根据提示去写, 他们会觉得容易许多。当难度降低以后, 他们也会愿意动笔去写。当写作不再是负担时, 他们的信心也会随之被建立起来。当然, 我们的提示可以是多方面的, 如关键词、句型、问题等, 这些都会让学生们的头脑中出现更多可说、可写的内容。

案例:在学完译林版六年级英语下册Unit 7 Summer holiday plans之后, 我让学生们写一篇以“My summer holiday plans”为题的作文。为了降低写作难度, 我给出了几个句子作为写作的提纲:This summer, I will go to...I will go there by...I will stay there...I will...I like...I think...当学生们把这几个提示完成之后, 他们的作文也就基本完成了。 (一位学生的作文:This summer, I will go to Beijing.I will go there by train.I will stay there for a week.I will do many things there.I will travel around Beijing.I will visit a lot of places.I like travelling and taking photos.I think I will have a wonderful summer holiday!) 这样的写作提示, 让他们觉得英语写作也能如此简单, 他们的信心在写作训练中也变得越来越强了。

三、模仿文本, 掌握写作基本框架

模仿写作是学生们经常用的, 语文教师就会写一些下水文, 让学生们根据范文去模仿写作。因此, 我们也可以借鉴语文的方法, 让学生们进行仿写练习。在新编的译林版教材中, 有很多有趣的故事, 内容健康、积极向上, 学生们特别喜欢。我们可以挑选这些内容, 让学生们去尝试仿写。

案例:在学完译林版英语六年级上册Unit 1 The king’s new clothes之后, 我让学生们模仿《皇帝的新装》写童话故事。为了让他们能够写得更好, 我让他们在组内先讨论, 说一说自己的想法, 他们你一言我一语地讨论得非常激烈。当他们带着自己小组合作的作品站到台前讲故事时, 他们神采飞扬, 喜悦之情油然而生。他们不仅仅是在仿写, 我发现他们的作文在仿写中有了新的创造, 这或许就是小组合作的优势吧!当写作变成了一件快乐的事情时, 他们会觉得学习英语、用英语去表达自己的想法, 是那么的神奇, 是那么的开心。
