农村初中英语教学如何适应时代的发展，特别是如何提高农村学生英语学习的积极性，这是每一个农村英语教育工作者要面临的一个重要问题。“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之者。”学英语，就要好英语，乐英语。

作为一名在农村工作了十余年的教师，我先谈一下农村英语教学的现状。首先，大多数学生小学里没有学英语，只是七年级预备课程中匆忙地过一次基本的.单词和句型，来不及讲发音和语法，而进度要与小学三年级就开始学英语的城市中学的学生一致。其次，农村家长对学生的教育不重视，大多数家长出门打工，疏于管教，更谈不上关心孩子了，因此孩子的自学性差了，最后，农村教学基础设施薄弱，很多课程都无法正常开展。

针对以上现状，我们要从各方面加强英语教学。

一、教师要灵活地继承传统的教学观念，尽快树立与新课程相适应的体现素质精神的现代教育观

学生学习的主战场在课堂，课堂教学是一个双边活动的过程。另外，在教学中加强学生间的小组合作学习探究，加强他们主动学习的积极性，还可以让优等生带稍差一点的学生并交流学习心得。

二、培养学生主动参与课堂教学与自主学习的意识

在初中英语教学中，教师可以有意识地精心设计一些对理解课文有帮助，又有趣味的内容，在启发、质疑、解疑的过程中，指导学生自己去尝试发现问题、提出问题，并参与解决问题，探索研究问题，努力使学生更多、更主动地参与学习的全过程。例如，在八年级英语“She said helping others changed her life”的教学中，我们可以通过给学生放映与支教教师有关的娱乐节目《天天向上》，激发学生兴趣，结合相关图片来学习新单词，进而引出本节课，She said helping others changed her life. ()以有限的课堂为载体，带学生进入广阔的知识天地。

三、使用“Go for it”教材的英语课堂教学活动，创设趣味性的教学场景，让学生去感受、去学习

例如，七年级上册第八单元：When is your birthday?就是一个与学生现实生活密切相关的问题，我们在讲授这一课时就可以选择班级中某位同学的生日，播放生日歌曲，继而引出这个话题。

总之，要根据农村英语教学的特点，从教学内容出发，寻找学生感兴趣的话题，以此为切入点，加强诱导，启发思维，让学生主动学习，真正成为学习的主人。

我们的英语训练逻辑(我不愿意用“学习”二字，英语不是“学”出来的，是“训练”出来的)就是这么简单。

见英语说的出英语，其实就是你在“用英语”，是一个英语学习者必须经历的学习过程，也是一个经过这个学习过程的系统训练必须获得的英语能力。没有这个过程，没有这个能力，其它的都只能是“呵呵了”。

手里拿到的一篇英语课文该怎么学?学什么?

你手里的那篇英语课文只是为了用来做“见英语说英语”、英语“学”“用”同步英语训练的，英语课文不是用来把课文“用中文翻译一遍读懂就完事、就算学习了英语”的。我们的英语课文学习是考虑我们的英语得到了什么训练、得到了多少训练，而不是把课文用中文读懂完事。

在校学习英语的学生在学校学习英语的几年多感“迷茫”，不知这几年英语应该做什么。

你其实什么都别做，就把这几年时间全部投入到训练自己这个能力上就够了。等毕业时，你在这方面拥有了一定的能力，你就可以宽慰自己说：我好歹也敢说自己是个接受过正统英语训练的人。说这话真的当之无愧。

社会上通过各种社交媒体学习或自学英语的学习者，一样参照些“思路”执行。其实，你要找老师，你只需问他一句话：你是教我“用英语学英语”吗?

回答是否定的，你找下一家。不会冤枉你，不会冤枉他。
