1.认真审题, 分析要点.通过审题, 我们能够明白一篇文章要表达的主要内容, 之后根据提示总结6至8个写作要点, 并用简短的英语列出这些要点, 写出文章的提纲.高考常见文体有记叙文、应用文和看图作文.其中应用文最常见.记叙文要注意记叙的顺序, 有的以时间为序, 有的以空间为序;应用文要注意所用文体格式;看图作文要把图中内容按照一定的顺序有机结合起来.不管哪种文体, 一定要把提示的要点写出来, 再适当增加一些细节, 使整篇文章主次分明, 详略得当.

2.熟练掌握六种英语句型和三类大的句子类型.六种句型为: (1) 主谓句型; (2) 主谓宾句型; (3) 主谓宾宾句型; (4) 主谓宾补句型; (5) 主系表句型; (6) There be句型;三类大的句子类型为:简单句、并列句和主从句.掌握了这些具体的句子类型, 就能根据具体的写作要求选用相应的句型.写作时应用不同的句子结构, 不同的表达方式, 往往能起到很好的效果.

做好以上三步, 英语作文基本没问题了.但是, 任何的语言输出都需要平时大量的努力和不断练习, 毕竟No pains, no gains.因此, 平时要做到:

一、日常积累积少成多

首先, 加强对词汇、语法、句型的记忆和使用.我们知道:巧妇难为无米之炊.因此要写好作文, 一定离不开一定量的词汇和句型积累.词汇量不足, 写作时就会出现捉襟见肘的现象, 会给写作带来很大困难.在学习中, 应注意常用词的记忆, 积累一定数量的单词短语和句型以及优美句子, 然后自己进行模仿.只有掌握了充足的词汇量与句型表达, 写作时才能做到随心所欲, 各种句型交替使用, 增加文章的美感.另外, 熟悉并掌握高中英语语法.熟练掌握高考要求的九种时态和三大从句, 能恰当使用一些较难的句子或高级词汇, 会提高文章的得分.

其次, 要熟悉各种常见的文体结构.文章不同写法不一致, 文体结构也不一样.学生要在平时把各种常见的、常用的文体, 找一些范文, 有意识地进行仿写和背诵.在考场上根据考试的具体要求, 选择恰当的文体, 根据已掌握的写法去写, 就会相对容易一些.

二、养成并保持良好的写作风格

1. 写之前认真审题, 事事有安排有计划.先确定文章的时态和人称, 再认真归纳要点、组织语言.

2. 灵活运用多种句式.

英语作文, 重复使用同一句式句型或逐句翻译是大忌.用“十句的三段论”来总结英语高考作文是很有道理的.但是, 好作文要有好作文的要求:写出几个高质量的句子或使用了高级词汇.高质量的句子在措辞、结构、上下文的连贯性等方面都很突出.作为一名合格的高中毕业生, 应该掌握相当数量的语法结构和句式句型, 以此来应对高考的写作要求.

3. 保持卷面整洁.

尽管英语作文的得分关键不在卷面整洁与否, 但却影响评卷者的主观评价.第一印象当然是很重要的.很少有人会讨厌那些书写优美、整洁、令人赏心悦目的作文.如果你的作文书写工整、卷面整洁, 会给人留下很好的印象, 那么, 你的得分就会比同一层次那些写得凌乱的作文要高一些.因此, 平时养成认真书写的好习惯是很重要的.

4. 完成后认真检查.

写完作文后, 我们需要反复检查.首先, 查看单词的拼写是否正确、字母大小写是否有错、标点符号运用是否恰当, 尤其是首尾段、首尾句;其次, 检查句子的时态、语态有无错误, 名词的单复数、冠词、代词的格以及连接词等使用是否正确;主谓是否一致, 人称是否正确等.另外, 若是应用文, 注意格式是否正确.

经过审题,首先对短文的细节进行必要的删减。内容要点以外的都属于基本情况,要删减,而内容要点在文中都必须一一反映出来,绝不能漏掉其中任何一个信息点。若有遗漏,按阅卷要求则要扣分(2~3分)。有的考生不审题,全部文字材料都一一译出,弄得阅卷老师啼笑皆非。

对于看图作文,考生更应首先审题,看懂图中的主题,不应被图中其他的次要内容缠住而裹足不前,甚至导致走题或跑题。考试中所给的图,有的是漫画式的,有的是写真式的。漫画式的作文一般主题鲜明,画中多余的内容很少,考生读起来较为容易,也较易做出必要的删减。然而写真式的图画中与主题无关的内容较多,学生很容易拣了芝麻丢了西瓜,在细小问题上纠缠而不能自拔。

组织——进行必要的语言准备

审题工作结束后,考生需要就提供的信息或画面进行语言上的组织。这一环节非常重要,对书面表达的流畅和逻辑举足轻重。读题的核心工作是做必要的删减,组织的主要工作是做适当的补充,给框架补“血”补“肉”,要使写出来的文章意思连贯,语言流畅,逻辑严密。

还是举前面的例子,此题书面表达的要求是写封信。信的主要内容已经列举出来,十分明显,但结尾部分只能由考生自行组织。既然是邀请信,那么最后加的两句话要与情景、情理相符。这不是多此一举,而是题目本身的要求,更是文章的画龙点睛之笔。

文章的开头和结尾十分重要。考生必须熟练掌握多种方法备用。

1. 英语作文的开头

文章的开头一般来说应尽量做到开门见山,用简单明白的叙述引出文章的话题,使读者了解文章要谈论什么,从而引起读者的兴趣。

作文常见的开头形式有以下几种:

(1) 开门见山,揭示主题

在文章一开头,就交代清楚文章的主题是什么。如“How I Spent My Vacation”(我怎样度假)的开头:

I spent my last vacation happily.

(2) 交代人物、事件、时间或环境的开头

在文章的开头,先把人物、事件和环境交代清楚。例如“A Trip to the Great Wall”(去长城旅游)的开头:

(6) 交代写作目的式开头

在文章的开始部分就交代写作目的,如通过文章要表扬谁,批评谁,或说明一个什么问题等。如“Pollution Control”(控制污染)的开头:

In this article I shall draw your attention to the subject of pollution control.

2. 英语作文的结尾

文章结尾的作用是概括全文内容,进一步强调或肯定文章的中心思想,使文章意义表达得更加深刻。

文章结尾的形式也是多种多样的,常见的有以下几种:

(1) 首尾呼应,画龙点睛

把含义较深的话放在文章末尾,以点明、深化主题,起到画龙点睛的效果。如“I Cannot Forget Her”(我忘不了她)的结尾:

After her death, I felt as if something were missing in my life. I was sad over her passing away, but I knew she would not have had any regrets at having given her life for the benefit of the people.

(2) 重复主题句

结尾回到文章开头阐明的中心思想或主题句上,以达到强调的效果。如“I Love My Hometown”(我爱家乡)的结尾:

I love my hometown, and I love its people. They too have changed. They are going all out to do more for the good of our motherland.

(3) 自然结尾

随着文章的结束,自然而然地结尾。如“Fishing”(钓鱼)的结尾:

I caught as many as twenty fish in two hours, but my brother caught many more. Tired from fishing, we lay down on the riverbank, bathing in the sun. We returned home very late.

(4) 含蓄性结尾

用比喻或含蓄的手法,不直接点明作者的看法,而是让读者自己去领会和思考。如“A Day of Harvesting”(收获的日子)的结尾:

Evening came before we realized it. We put down our sickles and looked at each other. Our clothes were wet with sweat, but on every face there was a smile.

(5) 反问结尾

虽然形式是问句,但意义却是肯定的,并具有强调作用,引起读者深思。如“Should We Learn to Do Housework?”(我们要不要学做家务?)的结尾:

Everyone should learn to do housework. Don't you agree, boys and girls?

(6) 指明方向,激励读者

结尾表示对将来的展望,或期待读者投入行动。如“Let's Go in for Sports”(让我们参加体育运动)的结尾:

As we have said above, sports can be of great value. They not only make people live happily but also help people to learn virtue and do their work better. A sound mind is in a sound body. Let's go in for sports.

文章的结尾没有一定的模式,可以根据主题表达的需要灵活创造,一般的习惯是,记叙文和描写类的文章经常采用自然结尾的方法; 但说理性和逻辑性较强的说明文和议论文则往往都有结束语,以便使文章首尾呼应,结构完整。

修饰——进入实质性的语言加工阶段

要做好这一阶段的工作,关键是掌握以下几条原则: 多用简单句,少用复合句; 多用短句,少用长句; 讲究简明扼要,摒弃烦琐复杂、意思混浊不清。这一阶段是得分高低的关键所在。因此,除了掌握以上重要的原则外,还应在具体操作中注意选择正确的主语人称和动词时态,多用贴切的固定短语,尽量使用自己“拿手”的句子,经常留意句子的语法是否规范。从更高要求来说,用英语思维一气呵成地完成书面表达是上上策。但对于大多数英语水平尚未达到这一步的考生来说,在转换过程中进行有效的控制是非常必要的。只有进行这样的控制,才能有效地减少错误的发生,才能少扣分,多得分。

检查——书面表达的最后一道工序

最后一道工序意味着一旦稍有疏忽,很难再弥补。因此,仔细认真检查对于最终的得分是十分重要的。在检查过程中应注意以下几个方面:

①信息点是否完整,有没有遗漏

根据评分标准,漏信息点是要扣分的(2~3分)。要细致小心,一一检查,确保无一遗漏。

②语法正确

一、注重积累词汇

词汇是写作的必需材料, 如果学生拿起一篇英语文章有80%的词不认识, 那么怎么能够理解文章所表达的信息呢? 如果要写一个句子, 10个词有8个词拼写不出或拼写错误, 那么怎么能表达自己的思想呢? 可见, 衡量学生英语水平及交际能力的高低, 关键还要看他掌握词汇量的多少。 大纲明确指出, 学生应“能拼写所学单词”、“知道其基本词义, 能听懂, 在口、笔头练习中能运用”。 为达到大纲要求, 提高学生写的能力, 我在多年教学中都坚持每周用一课时让学生默写本单元的重点单词, 要求学生熟练掌握这些单词的词义、词性及用法。 对这些单词的默写正确率要要求达到96%, 默写错了的要立即订正, 直到完全默写正确为止。 这就使得学生在长时期坚持不懈的默写中积累了大量词汇。 此外, 对高、初中学过的不规则动词过去式、过去分词, 反复记忆, 直到熟记于心。 还要注意形容词、副词不规则变化, 特殊形式的名词复数, 年、月、日、星期等, 进行专项默写, 为学生高考书面表达打下坚实的拼写基础, 从而使学生在书面表达中避免因单词拼写错误或不会拼写而失分的情况。

二、注重基本句型结构

英语属于结构语言, 有自己的基本句型、固定搭配、固定短语等, 这些都是不可变的, 要想在写作中运用、用好它们, 必须加强基本句型的基本训练。 首先, 加强五种基本句型结构教学。 几乎所有英语句型都是五种句型的扩大、延伸或变化, 反之, 任何一个复合句, 我们都能够缩句为五种简单句的其中一个句型。 训练学生“写”就要抓住五种基本句型的训练, 让他们把这五种基本句型记牢, 不断运用。 五种基本句型是:

(1) S+V; (2) S+V+O; (3) S+V+O+O; (4) S+V+P; (5) S+V+O+C。

如写“我的家庭”时, 指导学生写出一些简单句。 随着学生英语水平的不断提高, 写作能力的进一步提高, 要求学生写出含有一般过去时、一般将来时、现在或过去进行时、现在完成时等形式简单的句子, 并慢慢向复合句过渡。 对于基础相对比较薄弱的学生, 让他们在高考的写作中, 尽量使用简单句。

三、注重限时训练

限时模拟写作训练, 增强考生临场应变能力。 近年来, 高考试题包容量大, 知识点覆盖面广, 这就要求学生在做题时既要注意答题的准确度, 又必须注意答题速度。 高考书面表达从时间分配上看, 最多只能用10-15分钟左右的时间, 学生必须在这个时间内完成书面表达, 并且意思连贯, 无严重语法错误。 在平时的写作训中, 必须训练学生的写作速度。 练习当场发题, 限时交卷, 促使学生瞬间接受信息, 快速理解信息, 迅速表达信息, 提高实际应用和应试能力。 这一步是关键, 也是难关。 首先必须使学生明白高考书面表达题既不是汉译英, 又不是作文, 不可任意发挥, 要求将所规定的材料内容经整理后, 展开思维, 目的在于考查学生运用所学英语知识准确地表达意思的能力。 要求学生在写作过程中牢牢记住以下口诀:“先读提示, 弄清要点与格式;时态语态要当心, 前后呼应要一致;句子结构和搭配, 语言习惯莫违背;文章写好细检查, 点滴小错别忽视。 ”学生在明确目的并掌握要领后, 要严格在规定时间内完成作业。 训练的初级阶段, 每次时间可放宽一点, 随着学生写作能力增强, 时间相应缩短, 逐步做到30分钟内完成任务, 不能养成拖拉的坏习惯。

四、注重模式训练

高中起始阶段的写作训练, 培养学生的写作模式是非常重要的。 我按照教师用书上说明的写作步骤, 即 (1) 构思 (讨论题目) ; (2) 写提纲 (理顺思想的逻辑关系) ; (3) 起草 (打草稿) ; (4) 校订 (检查错误, 重新安排内容) ; (5) 修改 (定稿) , 对学生进行写作模式的训练。 这样看起来比较麻烦, 但避免了反复, 养成了良好的写作习惯。 另外, 书写和文体格式要规范, 严格要求学生正确、端正、熟练地书写字母、单词和句子, 注意大小写和标点符号, 养成良好的书写习惯。 同时对各种文体特点、格式要讲清楚, 使学生熟悉规范的书面表达形式, 用正确的标准评析和规范自己的书面表达。

五、注重范文的作用

加强高考满分书面表达或范文的背诵和仿写, 强化语感, 提高学生审题和把握写作内容的完整性能力。 最好以高考英语真题为写作训练素材—对比高考范文—背诵范文—模仿写作的形式展开, 增强写作训练效果的同时提高语感, 实现语言的流利和自然美。
