三年级学生尚处于儿童时期,他们好活动、爱表现、善模仿,对英语的学习热情较高。随着对早期智力开发的重视,人们对学习英语的兴趣与日俱增,许多家长都希望自己的孩子从小就接触英语,因此,他们中有些已经初步的接触过英语了,也有的是刚开始学,但是无一例外对学习英语有一种很强的好奇心,只是这种初步兴趣极不稳定的,两三个月以后,有些学生便渐渐掉队。我们该如何促使学生持久地保持学习兴趣,为今后的学习打下一个扎实的基础呢?现结合教学经验浅谈以下几点:

一、三年级英语教学状况分析

(一)就教学内容来说,句子的正确认读和使用,音近形近单词和字母的辨认与书写,都影响着三年级学生学习外语的自信心。

(二)就学生本身来说,三年级个别学生还存在顽劣和懒惰倾向,上课爱搞小动作、课下作业完成不及时的坏毛病,学习效率也较差,甚至有些学生出现了厌学情绪。久而久之,两级分化现象日趋明显。

(三)由于家庭教育的不当或缺失,有的家庭对孩子放任和宠爱,学生在课堂上的表现往往是注意力不集中、学习兴趣减退、学习情绪低落甚至厌学、弃学等,难以正常有效地完成学业,久而久之便成为学习困难学生。

二、小学三年级学生学习态度的基本特点

(一)以形象思维为主。

三、三年級英语教学的基本对策

(一)教学手法要出新

1.用思维吸引学生进入情景。在三年级上册第四单元教学中,Whats this?和Whats that?的区分成为一个重点,也是一个难点,学生在what's this和what's that这两个句子运用上混淆不清。教师可以在室内走动,但重点要注意掌控提问者与教师的距离的远近,同时请其他学生做裁判,听一听提问学生有没有用对this或that,在一次次地纠正中,学生不断地比较不断地思考,全体学生的注意力都集中在这两个问句的比较和运用上,最终渐渐明白,物体离自己较近时要用”Whats this?”,物体离自己较远时要用”Whats that?”

2.用多媒体吸引学生进入情景。多媒体集图形、文字、动画、声音等为一体,带给学生强烈的感官刺激,在教学三上第五单元What would you like?一课时尤为有效,学生的学习情绪非常高昂。

3.用插图吸引学生进入情景。翻开我们小学英语教材,一幅幅色彩鲜明、生动形象的插图让人兴趣倍增。它为我们的英语教学提供了丰富的课程资源,也拓展了英语教师的教学视野。我们可以利用插图,进行师生对话问答。让孩子们在插图的帮助下顺风顺水地理解语境,理解句意。教师不断地变幻呈现方式,一定会比传统的单调的讲授有更好的教学效果,更能提高课堂教学的有效性。

(二)易混内容要点化

1.对话教学的点化。三年级学生还不太擅长抽象思维,还不会运用判断、推理等思维形式,对所学知识进行归纳整理。为了提高英语学习的效果,对话教学的点化是我们老师要关注的事。要提高教学效果,教师有必要对一些对话进行适当的点化,这是有效教学很重要的一环。

2.字母教学的点化。从外形上看,拼音字母和英语小写字母有很大的相似之处,许多孩子在背诵拼音表或字母表时非常流畅,但单独指认某个拼音字母或英语字母时会产生混淆,造成认读错误。我们要从读音上进行字母的点化教学,也可以借助儿歌进行点化。

3.形近单词(字母)、音近单词(字母)教学的点化。学生对“Gg”“Jj”两个字母的读音容易混淆,“Aa”、“Ii”、“Ee”、“Rr”这些字母的发音受汉语拼音的影响也很容易混淆。另外Qq、Kk、Ss、Xx、Cc也需要教师进行特别的关注点化。在写法上EFLHTI fgj wvmn WVMN bdpq也很相似,种种音近和形近混淆在起,加大了三年级学生学习英语的难度。教师在教学中应针对这种情况加强这些字母的训练。

课本中词汇教材顺序按单元编排出现,没有形成一定的规律。教师要及时引导学生对这些重点词汇进行整理。

(三)学习目标要激励

1.诊断性评价坚持量体裁衣。诊断性评价是指在教学活动开始前,对评价对象的学习准备程度做出鉴定,以便采取相应措施使教学计划顺利、有效实施而进行的测定性评价。其作用主要是确定学生的学习准备程度,以便教师适当安置学生。但是,在传统的班级授课制里,一个教师要管四、五十位学生,一位英语老师甚至要管五、六个班级,要实行因材施教几乎是不可能的。但是我们可以进行适当的调整,向不同水平的学生提出不同的学习要求。

2.形成性评价坚持去繁就简。形成性评价是对学生日常学习过程中的表现,在教学过程中通过教师观察、座谈、活动记录、问卷调查、学生自评、学生互评等形式对学生的学习行为、学习能力、学习态度和合作精神等进行的持续性评价。诚然,形成性评价能使学生明确学习活动中存在的问题和改进的方向,及时修改或调整活动计划,以期获得更加理想的效果。我们可以适当地去繁就简,并将评价内容量化。

3.终结性评价坚持百花齐放。终结性评价是对一个学段、一个学科教学的教育质量的评价,其目的是对学生阶段性学习的质量做出结论性评价。但是一次又一次的分数失利会使部分学生渐渐丧失了前进的勇气。我们要结合形成性评价,对不同层次的学生的学习成果进行肯定。

“教育,其实是一种唤醒”。德国的著名教育学家斯普朗格曾说过:教育的最终目的不是传授已有的东西,而是要把人的创造力量诱导出来。教师通过启发诱导、激励鞭策,去唤醒学生内在的动力。以灵活多样的教学方法为手段,优化课堂教学策略,以“激趣”为目的,充分发挥学生主体性,培养学生学习英语的兴趣,让课堂“活”起来,使学生“动”起来,我们一定能将三年级学生的学习兴致持续地保持下去,为他们今后的英语学习打下一个良好的基础。

一、教材分析

本节课是一节新授课, 内容是PEP教材六年级上册Uni1 “How can I get there? ”第一课时。 教材围绕“How can I get there ? ”展开, 图文并茂, 语言情景生动有趣。 因此, 我主要采取情景教学法和游戏激趣法来处理这一部分内容, 让学生既能运用语言, 又能活跃课堂气氛, 更能激发学生开口说英语的热情, 吸引学生的注意力。

二、教学目标分析

这节课我定位为听说课, 旨在通过听录音、学生模仿、学生表演对话、做游戏等一系列活动, 让学生能够在情境中进行真实交际并总结有效的学习方法, 培养学生主动用英语交际的习惯和乐于助人的良好品德, 了解中西方问路与指路文化的异同, 发展学生的跨文化交际意识。

三、教学策略

本节课我采用以下教学方法完成教学任务:

1.“任务互动式”教学法, 在整个教学过程中, 既可师生互动又可生生互动, 在互动中取长补短, 令每个层次的学生都学有所得。

2. 情景交际法, 新课改的宗旨是“一切为了学生”, 所以我在设计本课时, 充分让学生通过真实的感受来进行交流, 使得他们有话要说, 从而培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力, 突出以人为本的素质教育思想。

3.游戏激趣法, 在教学过程中巧妙地穿插游戏, 既能使学生灵活运用语言, 又能活跃课堂气氛, 更能激发学生开口说英语的热情, 吸引学生的注意力。

四、教学重难点

这节课作为听说训练课, 教学的重难点就是如何最大限度激活学生头脑中已有的知识, 激发学生说的热情, 让更多的学生积极主动、精神饱满地参与到听说训练活动中。

五、教学步骤

第一步:课堂问候

教师走下讲台, 面带微笑与学生进行语言交流和肢体接触, 以不同的方式展开问候。 一方面, 上课开始与学生亲切自然地问候, 可以使学生快速融入英语学习的氛围, 为下一步教学的自然过渡作铺垫。 另一方面, 可以训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。

第二步:头脑风暴

1.教师组织学生围绕公共场所这一主题, 采用头脑风暴法复习和学习单词。 如:T: Boys and girls, do you know th words about some places?

S:A museum/post office/library/...

2.在采用头脑风暴法复习和学习了单词的基础上, 教师进一步组织学生围绕日常如何询问地点这一主题展开小组讨论, 然后采用头脑风暴法收集学生的思想。

这一活动的开展在此处有两个不可替代的作用:其一, 这一活动巧妙地把Let’s start的内容放到free talk里, 既给学生提供了一个自由交流的机会, 又让学生掌握了本节课的重点词汇。 其二, 这一活动成功地激活了学生的思维状态, 调动了学生学习的积极性与主动性, 使学生思维互补、相互启发, 在自由愉快的气氛中互相学习, 从而锻炼学生的发散思维能力。

第三步:唱英语歌

教师播放兔子舞的节奏, 一起唱:Left, left, right, right go, hurry up, go, go, go!

其设计的主要目的是用轻松、 欢快的歌曲旋律让每个人的情绪都高昂起来, 让整个课堂都活跃起来, 激活学生的思维状态, 同时为后面的教学内容做好充分的准备。

第四步:学唱歌谣

让学生观看教师事先做好的微视频, 并学唱下面的歌谣:

教师把重点内容创编成朗朗上口的歌谣, 并结合课件及动作帮助学生理解, 这样不仅大大降低了学生学习的难度, 而且大大提高了学生学习的兴趣。

第五步:完成任务

根据歌谣内容, 给各个小组提出小任务:

Team 1: If you want to go to museum , how can you ge there ?

Team 2:If you want to go to post office, how can you ge there ?

Team 3:If you want to go to hospital, how can you ge there ?

Team 4:If you want to go to bookstore , how can you ge there ?

这一活动的目的是通过设置与本课重点内容相关的问题, 使生生之间进行互动交流, 以便取长补短, 互相学习, 从而共同进步。 同时培养学生学会讨论问题, 提高学生良性竞争意识, 学会合作。

第六步:小组游戏

通过在小组内进行社区调查及在教室内做游戏这两项活动, 使学生产生浓厚的兴趣, 使枯燥的演练学习形象化、具体化。 教师也积极加入到学生的表演之中, 体会他们学习的乐趣和存在的问题, 并在玩的氛围中协调、引导学生掌握难点, 把握教师的主导作用, 充分做到让学生在课堂中体验学习的欢乐, 让学生有玩的机会和动的时间, 最终做到让欢乐充满课堂, 充满孩子心灵。 另外, 通过小组活动, 能增强小组间的凝聚力。

第七步:小组评价

学生评价各小组表现, 评出优胜小组和个人, 老师进行总结。 这样可以使每一位学生都能正确认识自己, 都能感受到成功的喜悦, 从而更加积极地参与到课堂中。

第八步:课后作业

假设你是一名小记者, 采访你的父母亲, 完成下列表格。

这样的作业对学生来说是新奇的, 也是具有挑战性的学生乐于完成。

六、教后反思

本节课整体设计科学合理, 符合六年级学生的认知水平, 达到了预期的效果, 综合来讲, 在这节课上, 令我感到满意和欣慰的是, 平时基础较差的一些学生并未像往常一样表现出对英语课的厌烦和畏难情绪, 相反, 他们在头脑风暴、唱英语歌、学唱歌谣、小组游戏中能积极参与, 并表现出少有的兴奋。 我认为就是这些形式多样的课堂活动、寓教于乐的教学形式在很大程度上调动了学生的积极性, 赢得了广泛的参与面, 充分体现了语言的交际性。

作为一节听说训练课, 在培养学生拓展和运用语言的能力方面还需进一步加强, 以便给优秀的学生提供更广阔的发展空间。

摘要:对于语言学习者来说, 兴趣非常重要。英语教师要在课堂教学中想方设法激发学生学习英语的兴趣。其中游戏就是一条有效途径, 本文对此进行分析。
